” For four eyes only “
Are you craving some new framework for those gorgeous eyes of yours?
As an owner of poor eye-sight it’s only natural to scout the web for affordable and fashionable eyewear that doesn’t break the budget. So a lucky google-search united me with the Amsterdam based Ace&Tate, which has a true frame-game if I say so myself.
If you are not located close to Copenhagen and can’t explore the store located there (and use the offer of a free eye-test), the online store is your best friend. They offer a service that I couldn’t pass on – a free of charge, 5 day home try-on for up to 5 frames of your choice. Did I mention already that it is completely free of charge? Yeah, I know. A true geek dream.
The Pick
First step, naturally, is to scout their collection of frames. The variety will suck you in and I wish there was an option to pick more than 5, but keep it simple and I suggest, pick some you would like to experiment with. You never know what might suit you. Add your favourites to the cart and when you’re ready – check out as you would with any online purchase. Then it’s the wait game.
The Delivery
If the offer wasn’t already good enough, you get an extremely fast UPS straight-to-door delivery. After the order processing, the delivery for me took only 3 days and I got my glasses neatly packed with all the information and return labels included. Now it’s time to have fun with the eyewear, take some selfies and pick a favourite, or two.
The Quality
The two reasons that completely sold Ace&Tate to me are price and quality. As the brand states on their website, they only pay to the designer and manufacturer to make their glasses, which means lower costs for splendid designer-level quality. And that is no lie, their glasses feel sturdy, fit beautifully and pass the looks of a high-end brand.
If you are curious about how glasses would suit you and want to have fun with different designs, there is really nothing to loose here. Plus for a price tag starting at 998kr including prescription lenses – it’s a bargain!
Frame up and let us know which design is your favourite!
